The African Trade & Investment Development Insurance (ATIDI) is a pan-African multilateral financial institution established in 2001 by African States. ATIDI was launched with the technical and financial support from the World Bank Group and has had more recent support from the African Development Bank, the European Investment Bank and KfW Development Bank. ATIDI has grown into a market leader for risk mitigation in Africa, establishing itself as Africa’s primary trade and investment insurer and one of Africa’s largest Development Finance Institutions.
ATIDI provides political and credit risk insurance to companies, investors and lenders doing business in Africa. ATIDI has maintained an investment grade rating of “A” from S&P and A2 Insurance Financial Strength Rating from Moody’s. ATIDI’s membership includes 24 African Member States and 13 institutional shareholders and 1 non-African State. Besides its head office in Nairobi, ATIDI currently has offices in Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.

Qualifications, Experience and other Attributes
Successful candidates must possess the qualifications, experience and attributes as indicated under the respective job descriptions on ATIDI’s website. The roles require excellent written and spoken English communication skills. Proficiency in French language and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment will be an added advantage.
